The Hotel's History

The Gordon House Hotel is a 17th-Century, Grade II Listed building with a long history as an inn and hotel. Many original features of the hotel still remain, such as the Elizabethan grand staircase, Jacobean dog gate, and paintings and wall panels from the same era. The hotel is directly opposite the Rochester Cathedral, which dates back to 604AD and is the second oldest Cathedral in England.
